WhatsApp may let you send 2GB files   According to reports, WhatsApp is testing an update that would allow users to send and receive files up to 2GB in size. According to regular WhatsApp code miners WABetaInfo, this increase in file size is currently being tested in Argentina in a limited beta test. If the testing goes well, this might be a significant upgrade for Meta's messaging service. WhatsApp currently has a file transmission limit of 100MB.   WhatsApp Following the release of the worldwide voice note player for WhatsApp web/desktop and iOS, the Meta-owned messaging service is now bringing the capability to Android users as well. So, what makes this feature unique? When users went to a separate WhatsApp chat, a voice note would end. However, users will now be able to browse between multiple chats within WhatsApp to send or view another message while a voice note plays in the background. "To see if the function is available for your WhatsApp account, play a voice message and then return to your chats list: if you see a new player bar, it signifies the feature is activated," writes the WhatsApp news tracker. Furthermore, the feature isn't only for voice notes; it also works with incoming and outgoing audio files. The functionality has only been rolled out to a select group of beta testers, so if you don't see it on your Android version, it implies you haven't yet received the update.
