More users get access to WhatsApp's worldwide voice note player.
Following the release of the worldwide voice note player for WhatsApp web/desktop and iOS, the Meta-owned messaging service is now bringing the capability to Android users as well.
So, what makes this feature unique?
When users went to a separate WhatsApp chat, a voice note would end. However, users will now be able to browse between multiple chats within WhatsApp to send or view another message while a voice note plays in the background.
"To see if the function is available for your WhatsApp account, play a voice message and then return to your chats list: if you see a new player bar, it signifies the feature is activated," writes the WhatsApp news tracker.
Furthermore, the feature isn't only for voice notes; it also works with incoming and outgoing audio files.
The functionality has only been rolled out to a select group of beta testers, so if you don't see it on your Android version, it implies you haven't yet received the update.
