Twitter Now Allows All Users to Opt for a ‘Professional Account

Twitter, the famous social media platform, has announced that its "Professional Accounts" profile feature is now available to all users. Users have to apply for their account to be transformed into a professional account up until now. Everyone on the site can now choose to become a professional account from their account settings.

A "Twitter for Professionals" account gives brands and artists more tools to differentiate their profiles, promote content rapidly through ads, and make use of Twitter's future e-commerce efforts, such as the "Shop Module." It allows companies, businesses, and other shops to showcase their products directly on their Twitter profiles to Twitter users.

Twitter now allows all users to create 'Professional Accounts.'

A Twitter for Professionals tab can be found by swiping open the sidebar from the app's Home timeline. A "Switch to Professional" tab will appear under profile settings.

Following your selection of the professional account setting, you'll be asked to select a profile category that best fits your account, such as automobile, apparel/clothing, advertising/marketing, and beauty. Following that, Twitter will prompt you to select an account type. The two options are either business or creativity. According to Twitter, the business account is for corporations, retailers, service providers, and organizations, while the creator account is for public figures, artists, and influencers. You can swap between the two account settings if you change your mind.

Once you've converted to a professional account, you'll be encouraged to follow topics, promote a tweet in an ad campaign, or upgrade your profile using modules that your account qualifies for.

You can also switch back to a personal account if you no longer desire a professional account by going to your settings and selecting "Switch Account Type" under "Edit Professional Profile."

Twitter considers anyone who utilizes the social media network for work to be a professional. To qualify for a professional account, users must be legitimate and have an account name, bio, and profile photo. They must also not have a history of breaking rules. It's also worth noting that professional accounts aren't available for parody or fan accounts.
